Cupathon XX
In the spirit of great Roman
numeraled pastimes such as the Super Bowl, the Olympics, and Wrestlemania,
Cup-A-Thon XX is back, larger than life and ready to rock. Ceramics artists are
toiling day and night, preparing utilitarian works of art for the annual
fund-raising event for the Ceramics and Sculpture Department. There will be
wheelthrown and handbuilt cups aplenty, donated by students and faculty alike.
The two-night extravaganza kicks Friday,
August 13 and Saturday, August 14, 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. each evening in the
Alice and William Jenkins Gallery.
