In May 2009, Rick Lang went on a photographic trip to Louisiana. This trip was made possible with a grant from United Arts of Central Florida. Artist's Statement "In that endeavor, my photographs are what is most commonly referred to as straight black and white silver prints. To state it so simply is not to understand the many decisions and manipulations which are afforded me by the photographic process. From mind's eye to exposure, to development and lastly, the print, there are a multitude of crossroads which bring the final image to the viewer.” |
