Artist's Statement
“For the past 30 years I have been making functional pots that I hope will enhance people’s lives through their utility and beauty. The vitality that is infused into the clay by the potter creates a feeling of human warmth that machine-made objects cannot. My satisfaction in being a potter comes from the joy of making, the luck of a good firing, and the pleasure others find in using my pots."
