The Art of Tea

Ceramic teapots

Alice & William Jenkins Gallery

May 2 - June 28

9-5 Mon.-Thurs.
9-1 Friday, 9-2 Sat.

"I chose this subject because teapots are a form that can be rendered in almost any subject matter. If I wanted to, I could make a teapot look like a bowl of fruit, or a ham sandwich. The teapot is a form that both functional and sculptural potters can dig into."

Hannibal Square Portrait Exhibition

Heritage Center

through June 28

During the inaugural session of classes at the new Heritage Center last fall, Crealdé instructor Tom Sadler and his plein air painting students captured moments in time on Hannibal Square.
South Apopka: A Community Portrait

Photography by Bob Michaels

Showalter Hughes Community Gallery

May 2 - July 26

9-5 Mon.-Thurs.
9-1 Friday, 9-2 Sat.

"South Apopka represents the African American community that bounds my home, the City of Apopka, Florida. This area has a long history, a real sense of community, and some extraordinary people. It is a traditional small town where everyone seems to know everyone else. It is truly a throwback to an old time when the population of central Florida was a very small fraction of today."
